That said, eight years have passed since the 4th edition of the book was published. There have been quite a few new error coins discovered over that time frame. As the book is not very expensive (i.e., less than $20) - the 5th edition seems like a good purchase if it discusses an area of interest for you. It likely has significant "repeat" content vs. the 4th edition, but it will also have lots of new material to interest you. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems.
