Pictures seem strange to me. What do you think?

The surfaces and colors would seem to suggest the coin has been polished and artificially toned, possibly using heat(?)
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I agree, not original surfaces on this one, possibly burnished, then retoned. AU Details.

So, what's the origin of the photos? An online seller?

Yes, online seller. Part of my question is the insane level of detail. Seller said they left them in a wine cellar for a few decades.
Detail almost seems like it's put through a photo editor.

The wine cellar toning doctor is still at it! I located this coin on ebay by searching for "wine cellar toning". This is the same seller who has been artificially toning coins for years. I know because he bought a BU Buffalo nickel from me a couple years ago, and he relisted it on ebay a couple months later after toning it. I suspect he also juices his photos to make them pop. Here's the thread on what he did to my coin: https://goccf.com/t/349163&whichpage=1
