Sometimes replies can feel slightly sharp, but it's just part of learning about error and variety coins. Don't worry about asking questions. Here's what the 1960-D Small over Large Date variety date should look like. I can see why you could think this coin is the variety, but I don't think it's the one. Hope this helps. It is so large are the two different designs were so different, so when both are hubbed onto the die, this stands out like a sore thumb.
