This 1988 D Lincoln Cent has bubbling almost all over the entire surface. Could someone please tell me what this is and perhaps how it could be caused. Thank you.
Very common, sometimes worse than others: They discovered a few later, that the issue was zinc dust that was plated on to the zinc planchets. Not a good thing for the coin.
wow those are rough. Since I have begun by hunt for errors it has been invaluable to know what is an error or just damage that is very common. Thank you all for the great content.
