Hello 49th, welcome!


This Morgan looks like an EF-45 or possible AU-50 to me. There is some light wear on Liberty's hair, cheek, and cap and on the eagle's breast and the wreath high points. I see traces of luster in the protected areas. There's a noticeable scratch on Liberty's cheek but no serious marks. This dollar looks original with no obvious signs of cleaning.

We've seen examples of counterfeit Morgan dollars on this forum; for what it's worth, this one looks genuine to me.
