For some reason 1904 P Morgans seem to be gaining price.
I paid good money for the grade but she has nice eye appeal in my opinion and good looking 1904 p's are not super common.

Morgans aren't my strongest. I think I would go MS64, but the relatively limited number of dings, though deep, I could see it being MS65

The isolated dings I am referencing are the gash in front of the ear, in the center of the neck, under we on reverse, and reeding hit on the lips. Also a few stray drags in the fields, most notable that above the eagle.

All in all, low impact on eye appeal, great looking coin overall!

This one is similar to my 1904 post from earlier, though I know most 1904s have subdued luster, so to find one with appreciable luster is not that easy. I got lucky on mine .

Got it, thanks. I just think there might be a lot of marks on those surfaces that the dark photo conceals.

typical weak strike for this year. luster broken on both sides. eye appeal AVG to AVG- due to all the scuffs and marks. AU58 or MS63. I'm leaning AU58

Looks mint state to me, with adequate luster and no visible wear. Quite a few small contact marks but nothing too distracting. Strike weakness accounts for lack of detail above ear and on eagle's breast. MS-63 is the usual grade for an "average" MS Morgan and it seems to fit here.

So grade is AU-58 tilting the coin to see any shadows there just really is no luster breaks or rub minus the bag marks.
I personally think she ooks MS-62+ to maybe 63
maybe I am missing something but certainly super close to MS if she is not
