It's a very common coin with moderate circulation, so the value isn't much, if any, above face unfortunately.

Agree--a common, circulated '64 nickel. High VF range worth a full five cents.

Not as much wear as you think , 64-D Jeff's tend to be a little soft from pounding the heck out of the dies during production .Other than the scrapes and hits I'll say EF-45
easy .

I agree. Nearly 40 years and lightly circulated examples exist in the wild still. Must have spent a couple of decades in someone's coin jar.

AU-53, weak strike as was common while Denver was busy churning out a billion plus of these. Its metal content is worth 6 cents currently.
