Year 9 which translates to 1920, 1 yuan, questionable authenticity.

According to Krause, it should be 26.4g, and .8900 silver (SG about 10.31)

Y329.6. one dollar. 1920. should be silver. there are a lot of minor varities of the coin.

gxseries- I agree with gxseries that this coin is of questionable authenticity. These are a popular type of coin for forgers. In fact, tons of these end up in Asian trinket-type stores in shopping malls all over the world. Often there will be baskets full of these and many a layperson ends up buying one as a curiosity.

i actually have the same coin I wanted to get identified it was given to me a while ago it is supposed to be silver but mine feels to lite and does not make that silver sound. plus I think all chinese coins are fake until proven otherwise

Unfortunately, I think that's a good assumption to make. I'm now looking at all 19C. US coins in a similar light.
