Here are a few links about 1982 large date cents:
1982 large and small date cents. How to tell the difference?

1982 cents: What does swelling of the master hub create?
https://goccf.com/t/393330#3365378

Look these over to see if you can find the answer there. after reading this information, see if it answers your questions. If not ask specific questions that it doesn't cover. On that it doesn't cover yet is the mintmark issue. This mintmark was created with a damaged punch. When this happens they will look like that on many dies and many denominations. But what you have is not a RPM or a doubled die. So read the information and ask a question here. I'm going to guess your question and put the answer in a hidden message below.
Why is this not a doubled die? The answer: The die was made from the master hub that was swollen that year. The devices are all like that on the large date cents of that year. During that year they created a new master hub that contain the normal size of the devices. Thus they called it a Small date. On the links I covered that with an image of a small date cent and altered with Photoshop to show how the master hub was altered. But the kicker, there is also M-D on your coin. This altered the devices into what you are seeing. So it is not a Doubled die obverse or a RPM. Just a large date cent with M-D, and the mintmark was created with a damaged mintmark punch. That is the answer to your question you will have after you read the links information.
Secret message hidden, that is the answer to your question, before you even ask it. If you read the other information you will then see what I see on your coin.

1982 large dates are notorious for giving people fits.
Most DDO's for 1982 show thickness on LIBERTY as well as WE TRUST.

What are you trying to show with the closeup of "URIBUS"? It's blurry.

The reverse of the day is not a double die it's a worn out die correct but the front seems to me to be a double die. And I am noticing after looking at some of your pictures and some of mine how clear yours are and I'll do better

The correct terminology is "doubled die" not "double die". FYI.

Thank you guys I know newcomers has got to be a headache. To see them actually catch on would be rewording. I have saved coins my entire life mainly the bicentennials but silver ones never really the pennies but I have enjoyed my wheat pennies. When my house burnt I lost them all. It's taking me a few years to get back into it but now I want to learn.

Well you've come to the right spot. Feel free to start a thread with a question. That way all comments will be directed toward that one theme. Then you will know the answer and another group that might like to know the answer will also benefit. I've been doing this for years and have 12K images to share on subjects, that no one has asked yet. Also check My latest thread with about 200 questions asked with answers on the links and thousands of images there. (One has 500 images on it) So if your like me to learn with seeing and hearing what to see, you might enjoy that thread.

That link will take you there. There are 200 links to subjects you've probably wondered about, or never heard of before.
