Just got the piece at a very reasonable price. I'd love to hear your thoughts. The last one is under my loupe as well as flash, so it didn't turn out well in terms of being able to evaluate the coin... but I liked the picture and I thought that I'd share it anyways!

The next-to-last photo suggests AU details (scratched).

This peace is a bit of a problem girl. She had some PVC residue that came off with an acetone bath thankfully. The scratches aren't too noticeable in person but are there. The black invention in the middle of the eagle is what I thought would get her for details.

AU Details as well. Scratches on the reverse. Also appear to be multidirectional hairlines on the reverse. Am seeing some die polishing lines, but hairlines as well.

I don't thinks it is any better than XF details cleaned and scratched. Poor eye appeal in my opinion.

Probably AU details but these often come back with a clean grade so might be worth slabbing. Fine scratches will detail an MS coin every time but they are so common on legit AU examples that it is often impossible to tell if it's cleaning or just circulation marks.

The 1921 is a tough enough coin that there is a market for detailed examples. It's all a function of price and in-hand eye appeal. Not all details coins are alike. I'd take a cleaned details coin over a coin with graffiti or gouges.

I agree with AU details, cleaned. Not a bad one. I've sure seen worse.
