Hello guys quick questions is it possible to have Struck Through a Split or Torn Die Cap going in two different directions one on top of another? And if they are scratches can they strike thru to opposite side?

This is why I asked, I found this dime but this scratches seem to strike thru and if there torn die caps they go one on top of another.

I don't see any errors, all I see is damage in the form of gouges.
Looks like the coin may have been lying Reverse side down on the road or sidewalk

You think so JimmyD? It doe seem like it strikes thru in several places. But I believe you may be right!

Nope, just run over in a parking lot. Good rule of thumb is, if you can think of a way to achieve the same effect that doesn't involve a mint error, it's probably not a mint error.

I see a well-damaged dime--possibly the parking lot or industrial shop boogeyman. We see similar coins a few times monthly on this forum.
