1982 D RPM I have only found three listings. Real eye strain for me. Even under a scope.

But the issue for that mintmark is not a RPM, but punch damage. You can see this on several dies/denominations. It is not a variety. It is normal.

. Thanks for the info. I thought the center was probably something to do with damaged punch. Just wasn't sure if it was an extra vertical to the west and or lower serif issue?
That's why asking questions helps me and other's. Thanks again.
