Thank you! This morning we are going to close out the "Classic" run, starting with this 1977 Eisenhower dollar that I purchased at the fall coin show in 2018.

The 1978 P & D pair are very special. I previously displayed two of the four Ikes I bought from Darth Morgan, well these are the other two, but they were not bought at the same time. The 1978 Eisenhower dollar was purchased late summer 2019 as an early birthday present. The colourful tone on this Ike is a good match with my 1972, but slightly better. Darth took the photo, and as you can see he does a much better job than me.

The 1978-D Eisenhower dollar was bought a year earlier in the fall of 2018 as an actual birthday present to myself. That is, I bought in on my actual birthday! This is one of my favourite Ikes. Just look at him! It is the most expensive one in my set, but worth every penny dollar.

Before we head into the extended set, I want to share the only other NGC Ike I have. This was a gift from a forum member back in November 2016, not long after I started the graded Ike journey. The member wishes to remain anonymous.

Before I had settled on doing a PCGS set, thinking I would have a mix, I put that Ike into a Lighthouse holder (which has the same dimensions as the NFC slab). Like the two NGC Ikes, he is still in the box with the others, just not part of the official set.

The "Extended" Ike set includes the 1990 Eisenhower Centennial commemorative dollars, the 2013 5-Start general dollars, and the 2015 Presidential dollars. I previously showed the uncirculated 1990-W that is in my 7070. This 1990-W Eisenhower Centennial Dollar was purchased on ebay last fall.

While I have a proof 1990-P in the 1990 Prestige proof set, I bought this 1990-P Eisenhower Centennial Dollar Proof last fall at the same time I got the uncirculated one above.

I already had an uncirculated 2013-W as part of the 2013 5-Star Generals Profile Collection (5G8), but added this ebay purchase last December. It is my only MS70 coin and I paid less for it than the MS69 examples I was watching. The dealer offered a huge discount and I took it!

Back in March I found this 2013-P 5 Star Generals Proof on ebay at a good price.

I have not bought any graded 2015 Ikes yet. I cannot decide if I want to hold out for faded blue labels (they are few and far between) or jump on one of the many "Presidential Series" labels out there. I do have all four 2015 Ikes from US Mint purchases, so I at least have them in some form or another. There is room in my box to include a graded silver medal from the 2015 Coin & Chronicles set, and it looks like the pair (reverse proof dollar and medal) are out there to be bought. I just need to pony up the cash. The last two items for the PCGS set will be the other two varieties for 1972. I do not want a low grade Variety 2, so that one will end up being the King of this set.
