Curious to know if anyone has actually seen one and if it is truly a doubled die or just Machine Doubling. I came across the listing on Coins and Canada and they did not have any photos.

Im about to look through a good stack of 1976 mint sets and wanted to see what I'm suppose to be looking for. I have a good feeling the "Double HB" is just Machine Doubling.

Edit: I changed the title to something more updated since my questions have changed after looking through some mint sets.
Finding and discovering modern Canadian doubled die varieties since 2018.

Just an update, I think I might have found one, however I think the "double" HB is just Machine Doubling. The "HB" is incuse on the design, which means if it shifts even the slightest bit on the way back up from the strike it can cause the devices to become larger instead of thinner like what you normally see on a coin subject to MD.

I did notice that in the Charlton 70th edition they list the Full Water Lines for the 1976 nickel dollar, but they do not show a listing for Short Water Lines. Anyone happen to know why that is?

The nickel dollar below is a detached jewel with "short" water lines that do not touch the canoe, and all the other examples I have found online and while searching were full water lines that do touch.
