Just an update, I think I might have found one, however I think the "double" HB is just
Machine Doubling. The "HB" is incuse on the design, which means if it shifts even the slightest bit on the way back up from the strike it can cause the devices to become larger instead of thinner like what you normally see on a coin subject to MD.
I did notice that in the Charlton 70th edition they list the Full Water Lines for the 1976 nickel dollar, but they do not show a listing for Short Water Lines. Anyone happen to know why that is?
The nickel dollar below is a detached jewel with "short" water lines that do not touch the canoe, and all the other examples I have found online and while searching were full water lines that do touch.
