The one looks more like a scratch, a die crack wouldn't just start and stop like that one does right above the mintmark.

Yea I didn't even see that. I will have to check it out again when I get home. I felt certain they both went all the way across. Maybe it's the lighting in the pic.

A closer view of the area in question would either show a raised area which would be a die crack, or an incuse area with raised sides where the metal was moved: If it looks like this, it is damaged.

First one might be a crack, second one is a scratch for sure

Yep..I'm pretty certain they are both scratches now that I have examined the whole roll. There were several with scratches going from rim to rim. What typically causes that?

This one came in a full roll along with a few others with errors. I named it the cracked hull Delaware as none of the other had this. Has anyone else seen this on the 21 CTD quarter?

light and shadows. Determine the light direction that will light on one side of the device. Note the light on one side of the device if they are raised. If they are in a different direction, the device maybe incuse. That is what I'm seeing your coin. The pole if showing light on the right on the reverse, while the mark on the boat is showing that mark is incuse as the light is on the opposite direction. If the direction is different from the raised devices, then the devices are either incuse design or coin damage that is incuse on the coin. All determined my the light direction.
