VF35 as well, however, not seeing a DDO. Hope you didn't pay DDO prices.

The reverse "crack" you mentioned looks to be a lamination issue, someone out there may pay a small premium, I personally wouldn't pay a premium on this one.

Not a DDO. The DDO is huge and quite obvious to the eye. Hope you didn't pay a large price....

First,

Your coin is not 1916 doubled die obverse 001, the major doubled die obverse in the Buffalo series. That DDO contains doubling of the feathers, date, and ribbons that is obvious to the unaided eye. There is another 1916 doubled die, but it is minor, and does not have any real premium value (maybe $2 to $5).

Your coin likely would grade VF Details, environmental damage, due to the pitting on the reverse.

The piece of metal flaking on the reverse is a lamination, and is a common error in the Buffalo series. The streaking on the obverse is an improper alloy mixture, which very likely is related to the lamination. These errors have very minor value, since they are common.

On review, agree the reverse pitting would detail this coin.

Not sure if that's pitting or "Buffalo nuggets"
