You can ruin them and they can lose their value . Acetone is ok , it would not hurt the coin if just a soak without cleaning tools . Report this Post to the Staff

Isopropyl alcohol is a good alternative to methyl alcohol against any sort of fat(inclusive new finger prints). I do not thing this coin is worth to be restored. Report this Post to the Staff
