What is it that you see that appeals to you? Can you crop and enlarge these images?

@cust, can you please provide a little detail as to why you think that it is worth saving? From these pics, it looks like a normal, circulated cent. Thx.

Whoa, looks like a '98 WAM. Nice find!
Cropped, focused pictures will be necessary to confirm.
Rest in Peace

This is a worn common Memorial cent with a spending value of 1¢ . I personally would not keep it .

Acetone? I agree it needs a bath but I get mixed messages from different people with copper coins.
Is it isopropyl alcohol or acetone?
I never done it because I don't know but either someone says acetone is fine for copper or alcohol is fine for copper, but it's never "either is fine" they are always strong for one and strong against the other, so I never know which to do and instead stick to distilled water. LOL

if I look it up online it will tell me lemon juice and salt and a toothbush, which CLEARLY is the wrong thing to do. hahaha
Rest in Peace

Title should be more specific. Nice find.
I don't know the values of the AM varieties but would it be worth having it graded and conserved rather than experimenting on a good coin?

Maybe an experiment with common coins is in order?
