This seller has come up a couple times here. My advice....run! Here's the most recent https://goccf.com/t/399520Doctored/juiced photos with a following of buyers willing to overpay. One of the many problem sellers on ebay, IMO.

Thanks TY, that is good to know. When I searched through his other items my jaw dropped! Something told me to ask about it here because how does anyone have that many gem and rare date coins to offer? I even did a search for the business and everything looked legit and he has some good credentials but I guess things aren't always what they appear to be. Thanks again for your candid advice!

Interesting. Thanks Ty and to you MisterT for bringing this up again. I had not heard of this seller before.

EWver wonder why none of these amazing "gems" is not in a TPG holder?

Out of curiosity I went through several items he has listed and carefully observed the surfaces. Indeed not as gemmy as the main picture indicates. Hairlines that may or may not be from die polishing (looks more like cleaning to me), obvious signs of wear on the high points of some Barber coins which he is calling Gem Unc. I would also say juiced photos to entice. I am so happy to have the resources of this community to bring attention to matters like this. Thanks folks, you are awesome!

"Original roll" means nothing. I can put random coins in a roll and say it's an original roll. About as meaningful as the TV guys saying "sold out at the mint" for State Quarter sets. "Buy now and avoid future regret", the rhetoric goes on and on.

That's expensive for some of these non-graded coins, the photos are over expose and over saturated.

@mikev50, how can you tell he has 63 revised feedback? I can figure out how to find that data, and it would be useful in the future.

It's too bad the old toolhaus.org " ebay Negs Tool" is gone it was amazing at revealing the feedback issues hidden at ebay. Toolhaus shut down awhile back much to my dismay.
