I'll say EF details - appears pitted from ED, especially in right obverse field.

VF details ED. May also have altered surfaces, in which case it may not be gradeable.

Very bad purchase in my opinion . Pitted ,worn rough coin obverse fields are pathetic . VF Details .

Nearly but not quite XF detail, with below-average eye appeal due to the pitted surfaces. Not a fan, at least at $61.

Personally, I wouldn't give it a second look. But I admire NS's willingness to share his finds (and prices) with us.

The photos look a bit pixelated. I can't get a good feel for luster, surface conditions in some of the fields, or potential for an old cleaning. The obverse field SE of the nose and lips is an area of concern. I can't tell if all of this is pitting and contact marks, but at least some of it is. I need to wait for the in-hand pics here.

XF Details, ED. Surfaces do not look original to me either.

@numismatic student, I played with your pics a bit. I adjusted lighting, contrast, clarity, and ran the pics through a couple filters. I hope you don't mind. I'll be glad to take the pics down if you want me to. Here's what I came up with: To me, both the surface damage SE of the portrait and the surface scratches detail the coin. Overall, it seems like a lower VF details coin.
