Anything from A$20 to A$100,it depends on the market and getting the correct buyer. The Mint errors and mistrikes seem to hang around ebay for weeks at the moment,20 years ago there was strong demand but it has seemed to wane in recent times for some reason. Someone will Post with a better idea of current values than me.

Noble Numismatics Auctions get (typical) around $50 for this degree of offset.

Yeap $50 bucks roughly if it was better condition or rarer date might have been more.

Nice find. I think I've found a couple of 5c pieces like that - seems to be the easiest denomination to find this sort of error.

Quote: Hi all I have just found a similar coin myself. Is it a mistrike? or broadstrike? or ? My first impression is that it is a broadstrike error but it's hard to give as definitive answer by just looking at the photos. If you lay another coin on top does the bottom coin appear to be distorted in any way or does it have a slightly increased diameter? Also is their any change to the edge of the coin, including thickness?

its usually called a broadstrike or a ramstrike, I reckon that more rare date and would say 75 dollar ish range, that compared to the 2001 and 2003. I think you can get some even more offcentered strikes for 2000 date tho on the 5cent. Still very nice find in circulation the rarest being the 2007 double header or the alien 5 changeover (dieclash).
