The numbers on the coin/token (2nd picture, although it's upside down), look like they are from Nepal.

It is indeed a magic square. Each row, column and diagonals add up to 15.

Great work on this trig. I saw a couple other of the Zodiac tokens, but not this specific one. I guess this one is an Aquarius.
