Greetings,

I found this Canadian cent yesterday, and I can't tell the actual date because it appears to have some mint damage? I am from the states, so forgive me as I am not well versed in Canadian coinage. Is this coin worth getting graded?

Not only is not worth getting graded, it is ungradeable with not being able to read the date and damaged. Right now it's only value is in the copper.

Yes, it's a poorly placed "asteroid strike." Mintages for 1922-1926 are rather low, but chances are it's a 1920 or late 1920s, with much higher production. You'll never know, though.
