Vending-Machine-Dollar-Coins

I found out that the vending machine at my local library gives back dollar coins in change a little while ago. Here's my haul for today. Nothing crazy, but I just love the things. I even bought some storage tubes on Amazon since I'll probably need them in the future. Makes me feel like a kid on Christmas every time I go in thete with a bag of quarters.

It just blows my mind that you can carry $25 around town in something the size of a phone charging brick. I'll be sure to put a lot of them into circulation after I've gotten a few dozen in my collection.

For what it is worth, that is the topic from which this was split.

They have not been spent yet and it was an impressive find, so I feel it deserved to stand on its own.

If I load up my vending machines with dollar coins for my customers to get back, is it considered spending on my part Since I get rolls of them from the bank then make them available for others to spend. Better yet, if someone gets a dollar coin from my machine, then uses it to buy another product, is that spending a dollar coin?
