Hello guy's I have this 1994 D Quarter with what may appear like MD on IGWT and DD in other places. Also the lip area looks like it can be damaged yet inside nose it may have DD as well as above eye and some places on hair line. Now on Reverse it looks like DD on end of log and on leaves. Can you guys take a look and tell me what you guys think. One more thing on one of the eagles wings it also seems to have a bulging outwards area. Can you guys help confirm the DD areas plaeae, thanks in advance for your help guys.

All I am seeing is MD. I also think you are looking a bit to close. With very close up searching, seems you are seeing something that just isn't there.

When you look at the outside edges of devices, that is where you will find Machine Doubling.

If the contour of the devices are removed, then it is Machine Doubling.
What is contour?
Contour shows how the metal flows, from a higher location to the lower location. The color at the tops are light fading to gray and then to black. Note on the image above the MD removes the flow of color, because the contour was been removed. Note on the image on the left side, how the white-gray-black progression is possible, because the contour is till on the coin. Machine Doubling flattens contour. That is how you see it.
