Hi All,

Found this penny with the mint mark inside an indentation. I believe that if it was PMD, the D should also be damaged. I'm not sure if this is an error coin. I'll appreciate your inputs & comments.

Yes, split plating (and zinc rot/sink) associated with the mint mark. Fun example. Interesting toning--perhaps 'bumped up' a bit in a photo processing step?
