Do you think this 1883 Hawaii/US Territorial coin is damaged (ex corrosion or post mint damage)? Or do you think it is an error (lamination, Cud, planchet defect, etc). Thank you for your help. Not sure if this is the right forum or not.
Looks corroded and then the corrosion removed. And these are not US territorial coins. They were made, under contract, for a foreign country, the KINGDOM of Hawaii. At the time these were made Hawaii was a sovereign nation.
