I'm thinking about purchasing this Shield nickel, but it's a tough series to grade so I could use more sets of eyes. Thoughts on the grade?

The rim on the reverse limits it to VG-08. The green bits concern me more though.

Because it is copper nickel alloy, the green stuff should not be a big worry.
Bronze disease is much more of a problem with much higher purity copper alloys.

VG10

If purchased I'd hit it with some Verdi or Xylene.
