I was looking through some 1988 cents last night and came across these two. Possible minor DDO and rpm?
What do you think.
Thanks
Mike

I see what you're seeing and can offer the following:

The first coin does appear to be a very minor split lower serif RPM. No telling whether it's a listed die.

The second coin does have some light extra thickness only to the lower half of the last 8 in the date. I would want to see evidence of extra thickness elsewhere on the coin before saying whether it's a doubled die.

Coppercoins, there is no other extra thickness evident on the obverse of this one. The planchet was poorly plated, maybe this has something to do with the second 8.
Thanks for the input.

Here is one I found in change.
Two-1988-D-Lincoln-Memorial-Cents
The doubling on the date and the E in WE is the only doubling I found on this coin.
