I agree. It could have been much worse. Thankfully the fire didn't start in the same room, plus the were in coin holders. The holders took the majority of the damage.

LOL, I had no idea that was a key date. I don't have many Peace dollars. I mostly have a ridiculous amount of various pennies

I think that Peace dollar is a 1923. Not 1928

Those don't look bad, not what I was expecting. You posted some pretty good coins that might be worth individual treatment.

Those coins don't look bad compared to some of the coins I have now. They faired well. Also, they worth more than face value. The Kennedy half is 40% silver. The Peace dollar is 90% silver, and if it is a 1928, it is worth much more than the silver content.
