Does it look to any of you like there is an impression of a vase or pot in column 7. Like the ones on the stairs?

If it is incuse, then it is probably a bag mark. (a coin an another coin) If this were a die issue, the mark would be raised. There is nothing to affect that area during a clash.

If it is a bag mark, then the only area affected is the center area. The other side of the column is tricking your eye to see it as something it is not. The mark on the right side is one of the four false columns to make it look 3-D and indicate the rows of columns behind those rows.

So a straight incuse line, it probably what we are seeing on your coin.
