Hello ,I have an 1804 Draped bust coin. I believe its a variety 3 . But After looking closely it appears there are lines from the shield on the obverse of the coin if you look just above the date you can see in photo. any comments thanks ahead .

You know enough to know that there is a Class III, so it seems like you must also know that this is a multi-million dollar coin, only 15 of them exist in all classes, and only 8 of them are available to collectors. I hope you didn't pay anything for it.

Keep it anyway.
It is the only you will ever get to own an 1804 silver dollar.

Advice for anyone else thinking of obtaining a fake 1804 silver dollar - don't even think of paying more than a couple of bucks for an example. Mine cost $2.
