2021 Lincoln Penny Error Or Not? - Coin Community Forum

SmackRampage Valued Member United States 76 Posts	Posted 06/13/2021 6:16 pm So I saw a YouTube video the other day from one of the guys that have been around for a while doing the coin thing and he was saying how coins that have this kind of stuff on them can actually be errors and not just anchor who knows whatever... So first question is is this a minting error? Second what exactly causes this if it is a minting error? And finally if it is how can you tell the difference between it then and say someone spilling ink on a penny? Your cent does not have any sort of mint errors, sorry. Environmental staining/discolouration/ from chemical and/or heat exposure. Spend it if you can convince someone to touch it. Keep searching!
