I guess we can't make offenders drop for push-ups.

Yup!

Use the "Report this Post to the Staff" link in the lower right corner of the reply to let us know!

We can split any of the "hi-jack" and "necro-bump" replies into their own topic, like I did here and here.

When you post something in an existing thread that takes focus away from the original topic.

For example, I create a topic about a glorious Ike dollar. Everyone praises its undeniable beauty. Then someone else comes along, posts their own coin, and wants everyone to comment on it. The problem is having two coins is one coin too many; comments for one are confused with comments on the other.

It is even worse of the original thread has been dormant for a while (necro-bump).

If we catch them in time we can fix it and avoid the mess, so please report them to the staff and try to avoid commenting because that just adds to what we need to clean up.

I worked on this reply for like TWELVE HOURS only to have jbuck reply 13 minutes before I finished, so I'm posting it anyway!

Would this reply be considered a Hijack?

It's trying to steer the topic in a new direction by posting a question or image that's not a reply to the original topic.

Some members will post a "Hey! Get your own thread!" message when their topic is hijacked, but it's really a better idea to click the "Report this Post to the Staff" link.

Edit: Too many E's in Twelve, sorry.

And, unless they were playing the Cubs, then no.

BTW, the Cubs played the Mets last night... and lost...

I keep trying to report this "bobby131313" guy for hijacking this topic, but every time I click the 'report link' either my PC gets a Blue Screen or Death or all of the breakers in the house trip and I have to go reset them.

Weird, huh?!?

I don't have a machine with 95, but my desktop PC is still running Vista. Will that work?

Oh, not to hijack a hijack, but does anyone know where I can find a Vista to Windows 7 upgrade disk? I'd be happy to pay for it! I have the 7 to 10 Free Upgrade on a thumb drive, but I can't use it without first bumping Windows to 7.

Weird, huh?!?
