All I wanted is a 1960 Small date Proof Lincoln Memorial cent. my cost was $6.98. In my books not too bad for a proof coin. However what I got in the mail was this: 1960 LMC SD Proof 1960 LMC LD 1960-D LMC SD 1960-D LMC LD  I love the way this seller goes up and beyond expectations. Edited by Dearborn

Very kind of that seller!
The cost to him is likely marginal, he likely paid either face, or maybe $0.02 each, but it's a good gesture and makes buyers quite happy

I've come across a couple fairly recently. Smart business, it reminds me of my YN days at monthly meetings where dealers made change with collectable coins for a 12 year old... |

Despite the business I gave my favorite seller, he still ended up closing shop recently. It hurts when you lose good deals and customer service. Cherish it while it lasts.
