It looks somewhat Roman, along the lines of a radiate, but not official, with a blundered legend. Perhaps a barbarous radiate from the 270s. It doesn't even look like most of those but at least has a resemblance. Victorinus looks very much like that - his official issues include a few where he's holding a shield in a similar fashion, although in those he's facing left. The reverse would usually be a standing figure but seems to be another bust in a radiate crown? Report this Post to the Staff
