That's a very nice one! Congrats! I'd agree that it looks like it should come back a 65. Strong RPM and a solid grade!

Thanks guys. Working so much this time of year I don't have time for much cherry-picking. Although I think I have a couple of knockouts on the way. I probably won't comment on this post again because I'll be out of cell range but thanks in advance and I'll have a couple more coming when I get time.

Nice. Just wondering why crack it out of ANACS and send to PCGS? John1

John1. These for some reason carry a lot more value in a PCGS holder.

Long time on this one as PCGS takes forever. I got great news with my most recent submission. Two anacs coins and one NGC that I submitted went up a grade at PCGS. This being one of them. It will be a plate coin on coinfacts and came it at 66RD!

Nice looking coin! Congrats on the grade up-grade. But back in 2021 John1 ask you why you cracked it open just to send it in to PCGS. I would have just sent in the holder to PCGS and had it re-holdered with a re-evaluation to boot.

Thanks guys. The main reason to crack a case(for me at least) is to save money. I forgot how much but it definitely costs more to cross a coin than to just grade it. You will loose a lot of these battles. I had an NGC 67 come back 66(don't submit any ngc 67 and expect PCGS to give it a 67). I'm 0-2 on those and that will be the last. That being said I have several NGC coins that I don't think would cross so I'm going to resubmit them to NGC for variety attribution and probably sell them.

Ah, ok. Good to know. I was planning to re holder some of mine from ANACS and NGC to PCGS. I may now crack them out to get them graded.

Last I talked to the NGC folks they told me they no longer will just reholder one of their slabs and add the variety. The policy now is you pay for, and get, a full re-grading and new holder when you do this.
