Hi all. I know this penny is worth less then a penyy because of the awful damage on the reverse. I just wanted to confirm my understanding of Die Deterioration. The 9 and 8 of the date are what I'm validating. Thank you for your knowledge.

Reverse is road rash and the 9 & 8 are DDD,I also see some Ridge Ring.

Note the marks on the reverse. Just one of these on a coin will turn it into a cull. So when you see these, move on to the next coin. Even it is were something special, I move no to the next coin. A cull coin can loose 90% of it value. So it is just a face value coin now.
