All 88's had the Wide AM. So the Wide AM by itself is neither a variety or error.
Can you provide us a clear closeup image of the designers intials? Thanks.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

looks like a normal 1988D with RDV-005.

Sorry but based on this photo, I don't believe you have the Reverse of the 1989, which is what you would be looking for on these.

The G is not thick enough, or curved in the correct position. It looks like the normal reverse of a 1988, but as Pete said, we need better photos to confirm such.

Just RDV-005, not 006 (the so called "wide AM," although rather name is misleading as both have a Wide AM. The flared G is the place to look). It is a variety.
