. That is MD=machine doubling not a doubled die. Please properly crop full coin photos before posting...thanks.

I agree, appears to be Machine Doubling.

Great job identifying a 1982 Small date Zinc LMC. Which is a huge stumbling block for many new to the hobby.

You have a pretty good example of Machine Doubling like the others have said, which doesn't carry a premium. But it still is doubling so again you are on the right track.

Keep searching and learning and you will be able to spot the difference between DDO and MD.

I remember when I first started in the hobby, I found maybe 10 Kennedy halves that I thought had DDO and/or DDR. I thought I was going to turn the Hobby upside down with my finds. How could all of the experts have missed so many error coins? Turns out they were all Machine Doubling. But I learned and continue to learn.
