I was going through my mother-in-law's estate coins, and I came across this 1958-D Washington quarter with, what I think, is a $23 price tag sticker. I'm assuming that a quarter priced $23 from any time before (assuming) 1980 must have some quirk or error. I can't see anything here outside of the damaged caused by a sticker on this coin for years. Can you see anything? I included close ups of some areas and the sticker. Thank you for any insight.

Looks like an ordinary circulated common silver quarter, worth melt. I'd bet that sticker was an inventory tag or something, not a price tag.

it doesn't look like a price tag and the coin is worth its silver value.

I don't think that is a price tag.
