I think it's funny that it is only good for a half portion. A whole portion would be10 cents I suppose?
Perhaps an alcoholic drink. 5 cents was a lot of money for a half a drink. Looks scarce, haven't found another. Looks to be from the first half of the 1900's, probably 1930's is my guess. But I don't know.

Perhaps not alcoholic too.
Maybe a free token given out to get someone to go to the Honey Dew stand or shop. If you got there, maybe you would buy something else from the shop or vendor?

Seems to be a reference to a non-alcoholic beverage from Toronto, Canada. Made from fruit juice and honey.
