I hope these come out. Anyway, is this a die break on the reverse of this 1983 Memorial cent ?

No, that's a crack. A break would have a piece of missing metal. A crack is just a line.

Hi coppercoins:
The line between the I & T is raised, not recessed like a crack. Does that make a difference ?

Think about what a crack in the die would look like. It would leave a inprint just like the letters do.

Numismo....the coin is the exact opposite of the die. A crack in the die would be a raised line on the coin.
