A lot of cash goes through my hands as a server so I tend to pull out all Star notes I find, around 20 over the past 2 years up until tonight..

One of my co-workers called me a couple nights prior and told me she had found 5 consecutive $5 star notes for me. When I get to work she gives them to me and thats the end of it. She later goes to the bar for change and ends up with another one. I then go to the bar and end up with a whole lot more!

Serial numbers FG00548101-112
156-160 and 164-172, and 184

also 8 other 5's in order but not star notes.

all the others I'm assuming got released out into circulation because there was a 2 day gap between the phone call and me working again.

So now I must ask, should I keep the non-star consecutive notes? And how rare are the others, should I just put them in the safe to hold onto for a lifetime?

Also would like to note how nice it is to have friends looking out and helping with your hobbies!

Rare? Negligable right now because they're so new, but since they only cost you face in the first place...

Could one of our senior members create an FAQ on this currency page to cover these types of things?

Keep the stars. As far as 5 consecutive non star notes, they can be had most any given day at your local bank.
