Your coin is damaged, we can't be sure exactly how or why but we can say for sure that it is not an error.
There are an infinite number of ways a coin can be damaged.
Though large in number there are only a finite number of errors that can occur during the minting process.
Thousands of collectors spend countless hours studying errors, their causes, and sharing their findings.
No one wastes their time in pursuit of all the ways a coin can be damaged.
We'll likely never know what happened to your coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Does look like it has been punched with something.
All it has done is cause damage to a good coin.
