What color is the minting press grease that Philly uses? I opened a fresh BU roll of 2021 P dimes to find one coin showing minor grease struck through, but with globs of green grease retained on the reverse and the rim at the limits of the struck through area. I've not seen that before. If green is the right color, I'll put up a pic.

Is almost no color (little bit yellowish) for the grease for this year. In modern coins struck they use liquid grease which lubricate and cool in the same time. We have not forgot they strike at a frequency of 750 coins a minute.

Well, since no one mentioned green, it sounds like what's on my coin is grease from some other source.

The different colour grease could have come from the third party coin rollers the banks use. Can we PLEASE see a photo of yours?
