100% pure acetone, not standard nail polish remover. You can also "gently" use a very well worn soft tooth brush. Not recommending cleaning coins so if you do you do it at your own risk.

At this moment, it appears you have a common, circulated '41 Wheat cent, with a slight hint of Die Deterioration. Always a good roll find.

Good advice from John. Verdi-care would remove the green spots if you could find it, but probably not worth the cost.
Rest in Peace

Common circulated wheatie , forget the Verdi-Care you'll never find it . John 1 has the right idea keep it submerged in Acetone while using tooth pic and tooth brush on the coin .Do not let coin dry before you are finished on both sides of coin .
Do not try this method with any other coin .

If you really want to try the Verdi-Care, pm CCF member BadThad, he is the creator of it. If he has some in stock, he'll sell it to you. It's worth trying it out on a lesser value coin so you'll know how to use it on something special. I don't think acetone will do much, but I guess it's worth a first effort before you get some Verdi-Care. Bonne chance!
