This 1985 nickel really stands out to me the coloring is what you would see in a penny of that year not a nickel could it be missing clad

It's most likely a environmentally damaged coin. The strike is full, so it wouldn't be on a cent planchet, but check the weight to make sure. It could have been buried at one time.

Environmentally tarnisned/stained/discoloured nickel. Could have been chemically altered for being buried in soil or from heat/fire of some sort. We we a LOT of these. No premium as they are damaged post mint.
