to me it looks like there is part of a second D mint mark and looks like to there is a date behind the date of some sort.

I'm seeing a common, circulated '50 D wheat cent--given the photos posted. Suggest posting large and sharp photos of the coin's obverse and reverse--one pic each. This would help establish a more complete context for the coin, and could illuminate other things of interest. Thanks.
