Sorry to keep bugging you all with these rookie questions...

Just saw that the mint is advertising "United States Mint 2009 District of Columbia & U.S. Territories Quarters Proof Set" for sale right now.

Am I correct that this set will also be packaged later with the annual proof set. So I guess I'm asking, is there's a reason to buy this now, when I can get it later packaged with the other stuff?

As I understand it, the new quarters will be included in the 2009 Proof Set, as well as the 2009 Silver Proof Set.

If you collect all of the coins in the full proof set, then wait for that to come out. Some people only collect the quarters, so they are offered as a separate set.

I am also new, but I thought that since there is many shortages at the mint and maybe these coins will become rare and will be hard to get when the mint releases them in the full proof set. I don't know if this could happen butI've thought about it.
